It is a great honour and excitement for me to assume my duties as the Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Cape Town.

Strengthening relations in all fields with the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, and Northern Cape Provinces, which constitute our consular district, and protecting the rights and interests of our citizens and our country stand at the top of our priorities.

Our consular district, especially Cape Town, is home to the historical and cultural legacy of our ancestors who arrived in the region in the 19th century. This heritage adds greater depth to the relations between our countries. The presence of our entrepreneurs, businesspeople, and young students residing in the region contributes new opportunities for the future. Drawing strength from our historical ties and with your support, I sincerely believe that we will further enhance the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Together with my colleagues, we will continue to make every effort to improve the quality of the services provided to our citizens and other applicants at our Consulate General, which was officially opened in 2023.
